"The program is truly unique and very impressive. I am reasonably certain that we do not have a program like this in North America. I commend you and your colleagues, and staff, at the two other universities for your hard work to make IMIM a success year after year. I found the students to be highly receptive to the material that I taught. They are clearly interested in knowing about other approaches to management that ensures positive outcomes for all stakeholders. The lectures resulted in a wonderful exchange of ideas and information across an international and culturally diverse student body. "It was a very productive experience to teach in a prestigious program such as IMIM, held by the European Commission. The classes I could develop and some master thesis that I evaluated express accurately the real spirit of this course: the encounter of multiples visions on problems and solutions in operations management. "The International Master of Industrial Management programme is a unique combination of truly new, relevant and informative lectures connected with a worldwide creative capital, making education a great vehicle for development. It allows students to encounter multiple countries, languages, and cultures within one cohesive programme, to gain a deeper perspective of management and innovation. The lectures combined theoretical subjects and practical assignements like the immersion into consumers life, engaging students beyond reading articles and showing them that consumer centric mindset and teamwork are essential skills for managers. I found them very receptive to the innovation topics, asking great as well as controversial questions, thinking and sharing their point of view. I expect some of them will continue research on innovation to have an impact in their own countries. From the teaching point of view, the experience made me think about the way education was administered and what was being offered to the students. Conditions for change emerged studying regional and global topics and seeing first hand what was being studied in the classroom. I do not know other management programmes like this! I loved also the possibility of co-creation with other teachers of this programme, finding it very challenging and rewarding as well. "I had the opportunity to teach a class in the 5th edition of IMIM students. The students in my class represented a very diverse group, but yet the class was cohesive and individually supportive of each other, as much or more so than any previous graduate classes I have taught. The students were academically developed and intellectually strong.
